MB&G has a long history of appraising both large and small timberland tracts. We also make annual valuations used for trust or estate distributions and profit-sharing, periodic valuations to determine the forest asset’s rate of return, assistance to either buyers or sellers to value timberland sales, individual timber sales, and expert appraisal testimony for litigation support. In addition, MB&G conducts annual 631(a) log value determinations for private timberland owners throughout the US. Clients are diverse, including private individuals, large corporations, banks, and government agencies. Clients value MB&G appraisals, which are backed by extensive forestry expertise.
