Confidential Client Prepared a draft 50-year, multi-species Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) to address habitat concerns for riparian and terrestrial species across a 23,000-acre tree farm in the Columbia River Gorge.
Oregon Department of Transportation Mapped salmonid habitat, terrestrial habitat, and sensitive environmental features within ODOT's transportation corridor using the latest in aerial imagery and Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. The resulting GIS products are used by ODOT for resource protection and regulatory compliance.
Miscellaneous Clients Performed protocol northern spotted owl surveys on more than 50 timber tracts in California, Oregon, and Washington.
Otak, Inc. Evaluated potential impacts to bald eagles, Columbia white-tailed deer, and salmonid species as a result of a bridge replacement project in Clatsop County, Oregon.
Roseburg Resources Interpreted spotted owl telemetry data and performed home range and habitat selection analyses for litigation support. MB&G staff provided expert witness testimony in federal court.
USDA Forest Service Assessed habitat suitability for a recently located sub-population of Shasta salamander, a federally-listed species in northern California.
