MB&G has worked on a variety of international forestry projects in such places as Venezuela, New Zealand, Brazil, Russia, and other countries. To keep international forestry consulting cost-effective, we approach these projects by first determining whether MB&G has the expertise necessary to meet the client’s goals efficiently. International work includes an evaluation of potential timberland acquisitions, forest inventory verification, expert testimony, property management audits, and assistance in harvest scheduling and yield table development. In most cases, our clients in the international markets are from the private sector.
