Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF)

Designed and developed an ArcGIS process using ModelBuilder and Python scripting to generate inputs for the Harvest and Habitat Project for the seven ODF Districts. Managed large sets of spatial data and provided technical expertise, and quality assurance for each model run; provided documentation of the models and procedures.

Idaho Department of Lands

Provided evaluation and information needs assessment for the design, development and implementation of a stand-based inventory system. Provide on-call GIS technical support for database updates and GIS and inventory software.

Large Industrial Forest Land Owner

Redesigned GIS database for ArcGIS. Provide on-call GIS technical support for acquisitions, analysis in support of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® forest certification process, and to address regulatory agency requirements. Maintain GIS database for forest inventory purposes, long-term planning, and day-to-day operations.

Non-Industrial Forest Landowner

Designed, developed, and maintained spatial data as it relates to forest inventory, long-term planning, and day-to-day operations. Provide on-call GIS service for field foresters and land managers.

Large Timberland Investment Management Organization (TIMO)

Provided GIS support for a forest inventory verification project including cruise design, field maps, and summary of final cruise results and analysis.
