MB&G’s Environmental Services Group provides comprehensive fish and wildlife-related project services. At the pre-project stage, MB&G biologists document environmental baseline conditions for fish and wildlife species and habitat, conduct presence/absence and population surveys, obtain permits from federal, state, and local agencies, and develop impact minimization measures and mitigation plans. During project operations and/or construction, MB&G biologists help the operator to maintain compliance with permit conditions by monitoring work areas and wildlife species as needed, conducting fish salvage operations for projects that require work in water, and performing appropriate documentation of project activities. MB&G biologists also perform post-construction project monitoring and documentation. MB&G has built a solid reputation for excellence in the fisheries and wildlife services field with industry and regulators alike, based on a commitment to high standards of ethical and scientific practice, as well as extensive staff knowledge of fish and wildlife species and the regulatory framework surrounding them.
