Stu Smith, RPF, CDF
Stu has been employed by MB&G since 1989 as a Project Manager and Senior Forester on a number of forestry assignments including fuels management, timberland appraisals, timber inventories, timberland audits and special projects. His MB&G projects have taken him to most of the western timber states along with Alaska, Canada and Russia. Prior to joining MB&G, Prior to joining MB&G, Stu spent nearly 24 years in northern California with Southern Pacific Land Co. and its successor company, Santa Fe Pacific Timber Co. where he held a number of forest management positions, including Forestry Manager, District Manager, Manager of Research and Silviculture and Director of Corporate Development.
Stu is a California Registered Professional Forester (RPF) and a Certified Archaeologist Resource Professional (CDF). Stu has a B.S. in Forest Management from the University of Washington and competed the Institute for Business, Economics and Management (IBEM) Course at the University of Southern California.
