Philip has over ten years of experience working on geospatial natural resource management projects. Recent work includes providing statistical and analysis GIS/GPS support on a large soil surface lead sample project for a New Mexico Department of Health Office of Border Health, and developing regional and national geodatabases including management plans for the Bureau of Land Management. He has expertise in creating maps, NEPA coordination, oil/gas application permit for drilling, realty right of way actions, draft oil/gas lease Environmental Assessments (EA), range grazing permit renewals, range improvements (fences and pipelines), wildlife landscape improvements, recreational facilities GIS support for the Special Status Species RMPA, and is apt in ESRI ArcGIS, Spatial Data Engine (SDE), and Python scripting. Phillip also supports incident management teams during fire season. Philip has a Masters in Applied Geography from New Mexico State University, and a B.S. in Cartography from the University of Idaho.
