Nikolai Hall, RPF #3056
Nikolai’s extensive forestry background includes work in private consulting, industrial forestry, and state forest management. Nikolai has over ten years’ experience as a Forester in Oregon, Washington, and California. For the Oregon Department of Forestry, Nikolai was responsible for planning and administering reforestation and young stand management activities on state forest land. He worked on all phases of timber sale preparation, including harvest planning, harvest unit and road layout, habitat assessment and sale appraisal.
Nikolai has experience working with a broad range of forestry services and logging contractors, and is skilled in applying his understanding of Northwest forests and forest policies to meet diverse management objectives. Nikolai’s past experience also includes timber cruising and forest inventory, wildland fire suppression, and small woodland management. He earned his B.S. in Forestry from the University of California at Berkeley.
