Jesse Roper, CESCL
Biologist

Jesse joined MB&G full-time in January 2016 after spending the summer as an on-call lead for construction monitoring projects for PacifiCorp in support of the Lewis River Hydroelectric Project Settlement Agreement. He brings five years of experience to our team and his project experience covers work in the Yosemite high-country, the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and various mountain ranges within the Great Basin. He is experienced collecting and organizing biometrics of hatchery and wild steelhead in Columbia River fisheries as well as conducting surveys for wildlife in remote wilderness areas. Additionally, Jesse is skilled in GIS and GPS software such as the ArcGIS suite, IDRISI, QGIS, Pathfinder Office, Terra Sync, and Fusion LiDAR. Jesse graduated Magna Cum Laude from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a minor in GIS.
