Edie is a forest analyst at MB&G and is part of the Inventory and Biometrics team. She has expertise in managing forest inventory databases and cruise data for inventory verification, as well as performing year-end inventory updates for large forested landowners. Edie’s background in forestry includes forest ecology research, silviculture and botany field work, forest entomology and pathology research, and urban forestry inventory. Edie is a certified arborist by the International Society of Arboriculture, and is a member of the Oregon Mycological Society and the Society of American Foresters. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation and leads their Ski Area Partnership committee. Her forestry interests include urban forestry, international forestry, forest science, management, inventory, policy and economics.
Edie received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Syracuse University and her Masters of Science in Forestry from the University of Montana.
