Daniel Covington, PWS
Daniel’s career in natural resources spans 18 years and includes wetland science, riparian ecology, stream and river restoration, botanical sciences, wildlife habitat, and watershed management. In the last 10 years, Daniel has specialized in transportation and hydroelectric projects, vegetation and habitat compliance for wind energy facilities, river restoration and bank stabilization, and wildlife habitat assessments. Daniel joined MB&G in 2007 and has been a Society of Wetland Scientists Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) in good standing since 2009.
In 2014, Daniel completed the River Restoration Professional Certification Program provided by Portland State University, and he is currently pursuing a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Previously, Daniel held positions in the public sector and as a private consultant throughout the western United States, including Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, Oregon, Washington, California, and Arizona.
