Brendan joined our Inventory and Biometrics team in 2016 and brings with him a full-range of work experience from leading logging crews to managing over 100,000 acres of timberland as a resource forester. Brendan has a strong background in price forecasting, market trends, and forest operations. He has written and implemented sustainable timber harvest plans and Conservation Easement Plans across New England. As a Forest Analyst at MB&G, he incorporates his recent experience analyzing and forecasting timber and finish product pricing based on forest inventory, mill capacity, capital improvements, and other market influences. He has also worked on acquisitions and divestitures across the US south using stand inventory as well as current and future prices for surrounding mills. Brendan adds his valuable insight on long-term timber leases, Conservation Easements, and fiber supply agreements affecting properties and inventories. Brendan earned his B.S. in Forestry Production and Operations from Humboldt State University.
