Wendy Wente, Ph.D.
Wendy is an ecologist and wildlife biologist with extensive experience in meeting the environmental consulting needs of public and private sector clients.
Wendy has over 20 years of experience specializing in fish and wildlife surveys; habitat assessment and restoration; population monitoring; and study design and implementation. She is a Group Manager and oversees several technical specialists within the Environmental Services Group. Wendy is a practiced Project Manager who has successfully led several large-budget, multi-year projects. Prior to joining MB&G, Wendy worked as a post-doctoral researcher with the United States Geological Survey, where she conducted research on problems of applied ecology including a study designed to monitor regional amphibian decline on public lands and an experimental study of the effects of cattle grazing on wetland water quality. She is also an active member of the Wildlife Society. Wendy has a Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution, and Animal Behavior from Indiana University and a B.S. in Zoology from Miami University.
