Investment-grade timberland has long been the foundation of our Appraisals Services Group. We typically valuate properties of 1,000 acres or larger. Our clients include Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), Timberland Investment Management Organizations (TIMOs), pension funds, insurance companies, private equity funds, and forest products companies.
To continue to meet the needs of our clients, we also perform small property appraisals that are requested for possible sales, estate planning, or to assess an encumbrance by a conservation easement. For these properties, evaluating the ‘Highest and Best Use’ of a property is essential. In all the work our appraisal team performs, client service remains our cornerstone.
