For the third year in a row, MB&G has been selected as one of the ‘Top Workplaces’ in Oregon and Southwest Washington by the Oregonian Media Group.
Each year the Oregonian Media Group publishes ‘The Oregonian Top 100 Workplaces,’ a list of the best places to work in Oregon and Southwest Washington. The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based solely upon feedback from employee surveys. The employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. Over the past year, more than 5,000 organizations and 1 in every 88 employees in the U.S. have utilized this survey type to better understand employees’ thoughts and opinions. MB&G is especially proud since this is the third year in a row that the firm has been selected for the final list.
MB&G was pleased that 88% of employees responded to the survey that put the firm in one of the top spots. Company culture, benefits, flexible work schedules, training and education, and other factors helped place MB&G at number 36 among other firms.
Human Resources Manager Karen McFarland, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, who organized the firm’s participation, is elated to hear the good news, “Our organization goes to great lengths to provide a quality workplace for our employees—who truly are our biggest asset. We are so happy to make it on the list for the third year in a row and will continue to look for ways to reward our team and recognize their efforts.”
MB&G President Roger Lord, ACF, shares enthusiasm for this award, “Leading this team has been one of my most rewarding experiences. Each day I am honored to work with such a great group that continues to improve our business and contribute to the success of MB&G. I am so pleased to see our team recognized for the third year. Our team certainly deserves the honor.”
